Ramp Magazine is an art and ideas magazine focused on Hamilton with a worldly outlook. The magazine features fresh challenging art, design and writing from the young and the restless. Launched in April 2004, Ramp Magazine is an annual publication that is published by Ramp Press having emerged out of Ramp Gallery’s programme. The magazine is committed to the development of critical writing on contemporary art and culture in New Zealand, and seeks to be a new forum for critical discussion in contemporary art and an experimental project space for artists and writers in print.
